解説・定義 The interquartile range (IQR) is the distance between the 75th percentile and the 25th percentile. The IQR is essentially the range of the middle 50% of the data. Because it uses the middle 50%, the IQR is not affected by outliers or extreme values. Der Interquartilabstand, manchmal auch Interquartilbereich oder auch nur Quartilabstand genannt, ist der Abstand zwischen dem 25 %-Quartil (oder 1. Quartil) und dem 75 %-Quartil (oder 3. Quartil) eines Datenbündels. Es handelt sich mithin um ein Streuungsmaß. Da nur die "inneren" 50 Prozent der Daten berücksichtigt werden, ist das Maß gegen einzelne stark abweichende Datenwerte resistent. |
