Kommentar Der Interquartilabstand, manchmal auch Interquartilbereich oder auch nur Quartilabstand genannt, ist der Abstand zwischen dem 25 %-Quartil (oder 1. Quartil) und dem 75 %-Quartil (oder 3. Quartil) eines Datenbündels. Es handelt sich mithin um ein Streuungsmaß. Da nur die "inneren" 50 Prozent der Daten berücksichtigt werden, ist das Maß gegen einzelne stark abweichende Datenwerte resistent.
